POLC agencies make mark in Michigan Police Pistol Match

Kentwood Police Department Team 1 earned first place in Class B.

Kentwood Sgt. Nichole Dalziel was honored as High Female for being the “Top Female Shooter.”

Fremont Police Department Team 1 was first place in Class E.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Troy Police Lt. Robert Wolfe was part of the first place team in Class A and was awarded second place overall in Individual Awards.

Jackson Police Team 1 took second place in Class C.

POLC members took several top placements during the 81st Michigan Police Pistol Match.

Kentwood Police Department and Fremont Police took three awards each, Ferris State University was honored with two awards, and POLC-represented Troy Police Command Officers won team and top individual awards at the fall matchup at R.V. Gray Pistol Range in Jackson.

POLC units Kentwood Police and Kentwood Sergeants both placed in the competition. Kentwood Police Sgt. Nichole Dalziel was honored as High Female with the perpetual traveling trophy for “Top Female Shooter” presented by the Women Police of Michigan. Kentwood Police Department Team 1 earned first place in Class B and Kentwood Team 2 earned Class B third place.

Troy Police Command Officers were represented by Lt. Robert Wolfe along with Sergeants Russell Bragg and Antonio Cascioli, who were part of the Class A First Place Team. Lt. Wolfe also was awarded Second Place Overall for Individual Awards.

Two POLC-represented Fremont Police Department teams earned first and second place in Class E Division. Fremont Police Chief Randall Wright earned the honor of High Chief, a contest for police chiefs, commissioners, directors of public safety and sheriffs.

Ferris State University Department of Public Safety team took first place in Class D and was awarded High College or University Law Enforcement Team.

Jackson Police Department Team 1 earned Second Place in Class C and the following individual Class Winners were recognized:
• Class B: Jeff Leonard, Kentwood Police Department
• Class C: Sergio Garcia, Jackson Police Department
• Class D: Dejujuan Nelson, Ferris State University Department of Public Safety
• Class E: Randall Wright, Fremont Police Department
