Register to join law enforcement officers and supporters across the nation by participating in the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) 2023 Move for the Badge, which culminates on Police Weekend 2023.
Choose an activity that gets you moving Sept. 1-30, from running to walking, biking, dancing and more, while showing your support for law enforcement. Move for the Badge raises funds to honor fallen law enforcement officers, tell the story of American law enforcement, and make it safer for those who serve. Funds will be used to support the NLEOMF, the National Law Enforcement Museum and special programs.
Register as an individual or organize a team of family members, friends, colleagues or runners from across the country. Set your fitness goal while raising funds to support NLEOMF’s programs and services. All participants will receive a free Move for the Badge tee shirt, medal and bib. NLEOMF is also providing special prizes as fundraising incentives.
Police Weekend (Sept. 29 - Oct. 1, 2023) kicks off with The Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception on Sept. 29 at the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington DC. Destination Zero 2023 Officer Safety and Wellness Awards will be given to individuals and agencies who have created programs that save officers' lives. The 2022-2023 Officers of the Month, who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, will be formally recognized and the 2023 Ambassador Impact Award honors those who have made a significant impact on the law enforcement community.
Get your free entry tickets online to attend the Museum Open House from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. Reserving tickets in advance is required for free admission.
