Village of Sebewaing Department of Public Works (DPW) Employees were at a ‘stalemate’ with their old representation, so when they heard the Sebewaing Police were looking into joining the Police Officers Labor Council (POLC), it piqued their interest.
On May 14, NAPO President Mick McHale and Executive Director Bill Johnson participated in a National Police Week Roundtable with Attorney General Pam Bondi, White House Staff, several Republican state attorneys general, and other national law enforcement leaders to discuss federal, state, and local law enforcement priorities and ways to work collaboratively with the Department of Justice.

Since he was a child, Macomb Police Academy graduate Carson Washburn always knew he wanted to become a police officer. So, when he was presented the Robert Figurski Award at graduation, he was especially proud to be recognized for his performance in the academy.
